I recently started reading Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel. The main charachter is Ayla and I decided it was a must read, for this reason. When I opened the package, I told Ayla that it was her book. She took that quite literally. If she finds the book, she will hold onto it and carry it around the house. She will ask us to read it to her during reading time. I admit, it's been a little frustrating searching the house to find the book. However, at least she's taking an intrest in books :)

Okay, so it's to the point that I am going to be checking in here more regularly . . awaiting the big day. Hope the end here doesn't leave you too sleepless and uncomfortable. Can't wait for her to come!
