A Playdate for everyone

Our good friends the McClean's spent the night with us a couple weeks ago. It was so much fun talking and catching up. It's great because we all get along so well. Below, is a picture of their youngest Kade. I love his face.

We have had connections with the McCleans since before Dental School, went to Dental School together and now live a couple hours apart. With any luck, they might live close to us once we settle in Oregon.

The gang hiding in their own cave pretending to be mean bears. These 4 kids play great together, it's fun to watch!

I think Cole needs to work on his mean bear face

I love these pictures of our kids. It will be fun to see them grow up together.

I am sorry I HAD to include this picture, it's me basking in the "Sauna" part of the caves.

How am I really suppose to choose????

My friend Marianne took some great 6 month pictures of Lyndi. This is only about half of the pictures. I love them all, but I think an 8 X 10 of each picture on the wall, might be a bit excessive.

And this isn't even all the pictures

First day of Preschool

On Tuesday Ayla had her first day of Preschool. I felt really uneasy that morning. I really fight sending my kids to school, because that means they are growing up.
However, she had a wonderful couple hours and looks forward to going back on Thursday. What an adorable girl.

Our Newest Bike Rider

Keanna recently has really picked up on riding her bike. Ayla has decided that she also want's to become a good bike rider. I went to the store and bought her a beautiful, sturdy hot pink bike. I brought it home and sadly it was a little too sturdy for Ayla. It was a little difficult for her to push the pedals. Justin returned the sturdy bike and got a flimsy, pink bike. Ayla took off and want's to ride her big girl bike all the time. We went for a family walk/bike ride yesterday and Justin and I were so happy to be walking at a normal speed.
I asked Ayla to take her hair off her face, she did a great job
Above is Ayla's new flimsy pink bike.

Above is Ayla trying to ride her beautiful Hot Pink bike. Everything, was just too stiff and difficult.

Lino Dino Park

I have the best neighbors! They wanted to go with us to an amusement park. So a couple days before school started we loaded in our van and went. It was perfect 4 adults tackling 3 kids, very doable.

The girls waiting for the Wild West show to start. It was intresting to see the cowboys riding English.

Keanna, Vanessa, Marie, Ayla, Emily riding the log ride. Ayla wrapped her arms around Marie and hid her face, it was great.

Lyndi and Vanessa waiting for Horse and Knight Show. The stadium was divided up into teams and we were encouraged to heckle the other team and cheer for our own. Below is a picture of Ayla appropriately booing the other team.

Karin and Keanna

Above is a picture of a good Ritter (Knight) who was fighting for the crown.

Lyndi enjoyed herself as well.

Ayla loved riding the rides.

German parks are amazing, they are not concerned about lawsuits and so you have some crazy parks.

Keanna having fun

Vanessa loved to carry Lyndi. She got a few looks as if to say "Your way to young to have a child"
