The Name Game

Tonight we thought it would be fun to play the name game, as a family. During Daddy's turn, he thought the name "Olivia" was a nice name. Keanna argued that she already knew an Olivia, and that name was already "taken." Based on her comment, and her top names, Keanna is into original. Justin and I got some great laughs on Keanna's suggestions.

GIRL
Gussy
Evangelist
Sholly
Nellie

BOY
Peckett
Braget Breckett
Brickin Pecker (We convinced her that Brick would be a good nick name).

Very original names. That is why children don't usually name their siblings.

That is awesome that she came up with all those unique names! What a creative gal she is!

That is hilarious! I think I'd stick with Olivia, instead of Evangelist, if it's a girl! :) I love the name Olivia! I am very impressed with Keanna's creativity! Too cute!

Emily,
Thank you so much for posting all those pictures. It was pretty slick. I had pictures of them in Germany on their digital frame before they even got home. It sounded like a fun trip. I loved the hat. Does Keanna have any name suggestions for us?
Love you guys.

I mentioned to Calvin the other day that "Keanna's mom is pregnant" and I could see the wheels turning in his head. He said he couldn't "quite" remember who she was so I had to get on your blog and show him. He scrolled through all the pictures. He was a little tramatized by the guillotine over the urinal but now he remembers Keanna! Those memories just fade too fast.

Well tell her she better pick a good one because we're going to pseudonym our 3rd child after whatever it is!

For those out of the loop, Emily is a name copycat! We named our kids first (well...they were born first, anyway, she had names picked out years ago to hear her tell it).

Brianna & Keanna
Asia & Alya
Evangelist & Evangelina maybe?
Prickett & Pritchett ?
olivia & Olive ?

As for the continuing Donair Saga, in Canada they were called Donairs, not Donar (maybe they're just different in each country). Do they have a white sauce on them that is kind of sweet? (Made from evaporated milk and perhaps cucumbers?)

Those names are awesome! If only it was that easy to come up with names......There were definitely no boundaries or thoughts of any future humiliation!

Names are hard to choose! Our friends just had an Olivia, and they call her "Libby." I love it!
What does Ayla have to say about all of this?
