Very scary to have a fire in the dishwasher...how did it happen. Mine has been smelling funny at times and the thought has crossed my mind! I really don't want to be washing all of our dishes by hand...I am enjoying that luxury too much! :) I hope things get better soon!
Oh Dear, I hope you get a replacement soon. Have you checked craigslist. . . ok sorry for the dishwashing details, but I had to buy one recently and I found that the brand Miele has an amazing dishwashing system. They are a little pricy, but we found one on Craigslist brandnew that a dealer was just cleaning out inventory. I hope all goes well! and I hope nothing else was damaged. Fire in the house is scary, what did you do when you saw a fire in the dishwasher?
It's been over a week since we had a fire in our dishwasher. I don't know how I ever survived without this wonderful machine.

I went 7 years of our marriage without one! I know excatly what you mean! I love our dishwasher and I could not live without it!!
