Keanna's birthday was going to occur during our vacation to Italy. I convinced Keanna that this was the best place to have a birthday because they had the BEST ice cream EVER. We decided to have a small celebration before we left with some leftover cupcakes (from school) and presents. Keanna insisted that at this pre celebration we should NOT have ice cream. Her argument went a little like this "Mom, Italy has the best ice cream. I want to have ice cream there, we can't have it both places because we will get sick." She won this argument.
Keanna is really growing up. She loves to read and we are constantly amazed by the difficult words she can pronounce. Keanna enjoys doing her homework and learning often I have to put a stop to it so she will go play. Last night we found her reading a book, long past bedtime.Keanna loves to tease her sisters, but she is typically the one who has to sacrifice her side for the welfare of the family. Keanna also has matured and does not fight over who gets the pink cup, she has realized that it really doesn't matter. Keanna is a delight to our family and we can't imgaine life with out her

So, how good was the ice cream? What flavors did you get? I love anything chocolate, carmel, mint, huckleberry, peanut buttery, etc. I can only imagine european chocolate and ice cream together...! Hope you had a great birthday and we are so-so-so sorry we didn't get to celebrate with you. It sounds like a breathtakingly wonderful trip. Happy Birthday Keanna!!
