On Thur Feb 26th Lyndi's eye started to become goopy. Within hours it progressed to a swollen shut eye. I rushed her to the ER room that night in hopes of receving a simple solution, like eye drops. They confirmed that she had a clogged tear duct, but also were concerned that she might have RSV. That meant another night in the hospital. The last thing I wanted was my 5 day old at home with me with RSV. The next morning, they confirmed that Lyndi did not have RSV, but they were very worried about the infection in her eye, which was getting progressivly worse.
Later that day we saw an eye doctor and he suggested we do a eye procedure to clear the clogged duct, as soon as possible. Within 1 1/2 hours she was on the bed on her way to her first surgery. Luckily, it was a very non invasive surgery and she was back in my arms 15 min later. We stayed one more night at the hospital. The next morning, after seeing the eye doctor, we were allowed to come home. Above is Lyndi at home after much improvement to her eye.

Poor Lyndi - must run in the family. Little Senya's surgery to unplug her tear duct is scheduled for 5/5! Glad to hear she made it through the surgery with flying colors. D
